Philip Mantle, UFOs, the DoD and Aliens in Pascagoula

Philip Mantle is an international UFO researcher, author and broadcaster. He also runs the Flying Disk Press, which publishes UFO books. Philip Mantle's interest in UFO research began in l979 when he joined the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA), and Yorkshire UFO Society (YUFOS).  He is also a regular contributor to OpenMinds.tv. In this interview, we discuss a recent article on OpenMinds.tv posted by Philip about an alleged UFO sighting at the secretive Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake. We also discuss one of Flying Disk Press’ latest books, which is a republishing of a book regarding was is referred to as the “Pascagoula sightings.” The event took place in Mississippi in October of 1973. While fishing two men witnessed a UFO and strange creatures. They later reported the event to police, who secretly taped them, but what they heard were two frightened individuals, not hoaxers. Dr. Bob Davis - The Intersection of UFOs, Alien Abduction and Life After Death

Dr. Robert Davis, an internationally recognized scientist, graduated with a PhD in sensory neurosciences from Ohio State University and served as a professor for over thirty years. He has published over forty articles in scholarly journals and lectured at national and international conferences. John Alexander, UFOs & Other Phenomena Challenging Conventional Wisdom

Dr. John Alexander is a retired senior Army officer with decades of experience with a wide range of phenomena. Traveling to all eight continents, he has encountered events that defy common explanation. A psychic adventurer, he practiced psychokinetic metal bending, fire walking, and caused a white crow to fly for the National Academy of Sciences. A founding board member of IRVA, he is a past-president of IANDS, and former SSE councilor. Straddling two worlds, he is also retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory, and served on studies with the National Research Council, the Army Science Board, the Council on Foreign Relations, NATO, and was a senior fellow of a DoD university. Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross headed his doctoral committee. In UFO circles he is known for investigating and writing about the phenomenon. During the 1980s, John organized an interagency group to explore the evidence, with participants from the military, CIA, and aerospace industry examining classic cases, including Roswell; the Gulf Breeze, Fla., photos; and unexplained incidents occurring within the U.S. strategic defense systems (such as sightings by NORAD installations), and many more. He shares his thoughts and research on UFOs in his book UFOs: Myths, Legends, and Realities. Debbie Ziegelmeyer, Missouri UFO Landing and Alien Abduction Cases

Debbie Ziegelmeyer is a successful entrepreneur, diver and paranormal investigator and lecturer in Missouri. Among her paranormal research efforts, she has spent decades looking into the UFO phenomenon. She is the state director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Missouri Chapter, head of the MUFON Dive Team and a member of the MUFON board of directors. She teaches underwater UFO search and recovery. She appeared as a volunteer archeologist on Sci-Fi’s (now Syfy) “Roswell Crash Startling New Evidence” and NBC’s Sci-Fi Investigates “Roswell Re-visited.” Debbie recently spoke at the Devil’s Tower UFO Rendezvous commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. She spoke about some of her best cases in Missouri. Two of those cases included the report of a landed UFO in a forest and a young girl who had a sighting with her mother that turned into memories of dreams of alien abduction. Robert Powell, USS Nimitz UFO Encounter

Powell is retired from a career as a research and development lab and engineering manager. He is a co-author of UFOs and Government: A Historical Inquiry. For several years he served as the director of research and chair of the scientific board for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He is now part of the Scientific Coalition for Ufology (SCU), a group of scientists, former military and law enforcement officials and other professionals, many of whom have decades of experience looking into UFOs. The SCU was founded to investigate a UFO case that included a video captured by Homeland Security over Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Now they are expanding to look into other cases. In this episode, we are talking about a case Robert has been researching that was mentioned at the recent press conference announcing Tom DeLonge’s new UFO organization. Chris Mellon, a former CIA agent and United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, shared a shocking sighting he felt demonstrated UFOs are a genuine mystery. The case took place in November, 2004, and was witnessed by the USS Nimitz strike force. Jets were scrambled, and a “tic tac” shaped object was seen and recorded on video. Richard Beckwith, Wyoming's UFO Hunting Lawyer

Richard has been with MUFON for more than ten years and presently serves as the State Director for Wyoming and on the Board of Directors. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 22 years and possesses a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming. He wrote for the Land and Water Law Review and published his first novel in 2016. He presently serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Chuck Zukowski, UFOs and the Paranormal Along the 37th Parallel

Chuck Zukowski runs the website UFONut.com. He is a micro-chip engineer and an ex-reserve (volunteer) deputy sheriff in Colorado Springs. He has been investigating UFOs and other paranormal phenomena for several decades. He is currently the Cattle Mutilation expert for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Chuck and his sister Debbie (MUFON board member and Missouri state director) noticed that many of the cases they explored ran along the 37th degree parallel. They began researching this phenomenon and started sharing their discoveries, including on this podcast. Their work got picked up by several TV shows, and eventually a book by well-known author Ben Mezrich was written. The idea and Chuck's research is now being developed into a motion picture.
