Kevin Randle, Roswell in the 21st Century

For nearly 30 years, Kevin Randle has been investigating the case of the UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico. He has interviewed hundreds of people who claim knowledge of the event, been through boxes of documents, stood on the first crash site, and provided information to dozens of others who asked for it. Now, he has reviewed all those audio and videotaped interviews, examined hundreds of files that relate to the crash, and has returned to Roswell in an attempt to put all that information into a proper perspective. Kevin is a retired lieutenant colonel who served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and in Iraq as a battalion intelligence officer. He began writing for UFO magazines and eventually moved onto books. He has appeared on countless radio and television programs since the mid-1990s and hosted his own show on KTSM Radio in El Paso, Texas. Leslie Kean and Jose Lay, Chilean Navy UFO Video

Journalist Leslie Kean recently posted an article in The Huffington Post about a two year investigation by the Chilean government's official UFO investigation organization into a video captured by the Chilean Navy showing an object they cannot identify. The object was caught on an infrared camera, and according to the director of the UFO organization, “We do not know what it was, but we do know what it was not.” The video was investigated by CEFAA, an organization in Chile's equivalent of the FAA, which also falls under the jurisdiction of the Chilean Air Force. CEFAA has full cooperation with other branched of the Chilean government and also reaches out to other UFO research organization throughout the world. 2016 has come and gone, and it is time to take a look back at the best UFO stories of the year. Open Minds UFO Radio host Alejandro Rojas and newsman Martin Willis are joined by The Huffington Post's Lee Speigel to discuss what made news in the UFO world, and what they feel were the best and most important stories.

Paul Dean, NORAD's UFO Files

Open Minds UFO Radio: Paul Dean is an Australian who has been uncovering U.S. military secrets via the Freedom of Information Act. Although the U.S. government claims they have not been investigating UFOs since the close of the U.S. Air Force’s official UFO study, Project Blue Book, government records show otherwise. What has been difficult to track is who is collecting these reports and where are they going? One of the places we know they have been going to is North American Radar Defense (NORAD). NORAD has denied having any UFO files. However, UFO researchers have discovered that NORAD's claims are not accurate. Lee Speigel is a staff writer for The Huffington Post. He has the unique position of being able to write about UFOs, among other topics, for a major media outlet.
