Doug Trumbull, Special Effects Guru and UFO Hunter

Doug Trumbull is listed on IMDb as a "Legendary filmmaker and visual effects pioneer." Among others, he was a special effects supervisor for 2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek: The Movie, and Blade Runner. All some of the biggest classics in science fiction movie history. However, what is less known is that Doug is also a UFO hunter. He has labeled his UFO hunting efforts the UFOTOG project (a meshing of the words UFO and photography). This has included a Hummer decked out with photographic equipment, and a short film about a man searching for UFOs. We talk to Doug about UFOs and special effects, and his UFOTOG project. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica

Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, a Professor Emeritus at Montana State University, has dedicated her life and career to working with indigenous populations. She is the author of Encounters With Star People, and has a new book coming out in December titled, Sky People: Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica. As a teenager to follow in the footsteps of two 19th-century explorers, John L. Stephens and Frederick Catherwood, who brought the ancient Maya cities to the world's attention. Dr. Clarke set out on a seven-year adventure (from 2003 through 2010) through Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico, collecting stories of encounters, sky gods, giants, little people, and aliens among the indigenous people. She drove more than 12,000 miles, visiting 89 archaeological sites (Stephens and Catherwood visited only 44) and conducting nearly 100 individual interviews. Chase Kloetzke, UFO and Paranormal Investigator and Author

Chase Kloetzke is an author and paranormal investigator. For many years she was a UFO field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network and spent some time leading MUFON's Star Team. This team is deployed to help investigate MUFON's most important cases and is made up of MUFON's best investigators. Lee Speigel, Nazi secret weapons and UFOs on the Moon

Lee Speigel has been researching and discussing UFOs in the media for decades. He is now a journalist for the Huffington Post's Weird News, where he writes about UFOs. John Burroughs, Rendlesham UFO Witness

John Burroughs is one of the primary witnesses to a mass UFO sighting in December, 1980. He and others saw UFOs on multiple nights near the Bentwaters Royal Air Force Base in Suffolk, UK, which was on lease to the US Air Force. Now he is suffering from medical issues that may be related to these events, but is being denied his military medical records. A couple weeks ago we spoke with his lawyer, Pat Frascogna, who says the records are classified. In fact, the USAF denied Burroughs was in the military at all in 1980, but they have fixed this "error" at the behest of a request from Arizona Senator John McCain's office. We talk to John about what he experienced in the Rendlesham forest, outside of RAF Bentwaters, and we ask about other controversial aspects of his sightings, such as the dates of the events, which have been debated. We also talk about his efforts to get his military records, and to get other documents released regarding the Rendlesham forest incident. Travis Walton, UFO Abduction Update

Travis Walton had one of the most famous and fascinating alleged UFO abduction experiences. It was documented in the movie Fire in the Sky. However, while the movie did portray much of the events surrounding the encounter accurately, the events onboard the spacecraft were completely fictional. What Travis really remembers is much more fascinating. You can listen to us talk about the events in our last show with Travis. Nancy Birnes, UFO Magazine Editor

Nancy Birnes is the former editor of UFO Magazine. She has been a journalist she was in 11th grade in1964. She has won many awards, including the Samuel Shellabarger Award for Creative Writing when she graduated from Princeton, summa cum laude, in 1979. Her husband Bill Birnes, was co-host of the TV show UFO Hunters, and has authored several books. We talk to Nancy about UFO Magazine, its status, and how she and Bill got involved with it. Pat Frascogna, UFO Lawyer

Pat Fascogna is a lawyer who has taken up the case of two men who were witnesses to one of the most important UFO events. John Burroughs and Jim Penniston were part of Air Force Security at the Bentwaters Air Force base in 1980 when they were sent to check out anomalous lights being seen in Rendlesham Forest. They both got close to a large, bright, glowing light, and Penniston says he examined and touched a triangular craft that floated above the forest floor. The next night many other base personnel, including the deputy base commander, also saw UFOs. Burroughs and Penniston now suspect that medical issues they have developed may be related to their UFO experience. However, the government has withheld their medical records. They enlisted the help of Frascogna, who we talk to about their efforts to get these records. Some of which, Frascogna believes have been classified.

Norio Hayakawa, UFOs in New Mexico

Norio has been investigating UFOs for decades. He specializes in his home state of New Mexico, especially regarding the alleged secret base in Dulce and cattle mutilations in that area. Norio has also spent a lot of time researching Area 51. In 1990, Norio created the Civilian Intelligence Network, which he calls "a citizens' oversight committee on government accountability, a grassroots watchdog group established to help ensure liberty, justice and freedom of information for all." We talk to Norio about his research and an upcoming conference he has organized in the Albuquerque area.
