Linda Zimmerman is an author and paranormal researcher. While investigating UFOs in New York's Hudson Valley, many people shared with her their UFO experiences. She decided to investigate and found that not only is the area abundant in ghost sightings but also in reports of UFOs. She has found so much material that she has written two books on UFOs in the Hudson Valley. Linda wasn't always focused on the paranormal, she earned a B.S. in Chemistry and a Master's in English. Jeremy Meador is a paranormal investigator who has been researching alleged UFO crashes in the Nevada desert. After hearing of the crashes he decided to find out if there was any truth to the rumors. Matty Beckerman produced and directed the new movie Alien Abduction, which also includes the Brown Mountain lights mystery. In fact, he got the idea for the movie from stories of strange lights and disappearances in the Brown Mountains of North Carolina. Beckerman says when he first started looking into the mystery to prepare for the filming of the movie he was skeptical. However, now he has seen the lights himself and is convinced that not only are the Brown Mountain lights truly an anomalous phenomena, but alien abductions are really too! Roger Marsh is a UFO writer, author, playwright and independent filmmaker. He is editor of the monthly MUFON UFO Journal for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), where he also serves as the Director of Communication. He is the National UFO Examiner at examiner.com, and blogs for the Huffington Post. Marsh tells how his UFO interests stem from an incredible sighting his family had when he was a kid. He then had a remarkable sighting of his own. This helped encourage Marsh to investigate UFOs and other paranormal topics. Thomas Reed and his brother began experiencing strange events in the 1960s, beginning with a UFO encounter. Some of their encounters were witnessed by others and investigated by UFO researcher J. Allen Hynek, who was an astronomer and consultant for the Air Force's official investigation into UFOs. The Reed brothers’ encounters include memories of being taken by strange creatures and examined. They describe ant people and strange looking humanoids. Although Reed still does not know what really may have happened, he believes at least some of his encounters had something to do with extraterrestrials. Mark Pilkington is the writer and Roland Denning is the co-director to a new documentary on UFO disinformation called Mirage Men. Much of the movie includes interviews with ex-Air Force Office of Special Investigation Agent Richard Doty. Doty says he was part of an elaborate program to disseminate disinformation to Ufologists throughout the 80s. He continues to claim he has official knowledge of the Air Force’s UFO and extraterrestrial secrets. We talk about Doty’s claims, the circumstance surrounding his disinformation, and the UFO mythology which has its roots in Doty’s disinformation and hoaxing campaign.
