Philip Mantle, Alien Abduction in the UK

Philip Mantle is an international UFO researcher, lecturer and broadcaster. His books have been published in six different languages around the world. He is the former Director of Investigations for the British UFO Research Association and former MUFON representative for England. Philip has written articles and features for numerous publications around the world and has been both editor and assistant editor of high street UFO publications. He lives in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England. He has recenlty published a novel on alien abduction called Once Upon a Missing Time, based off of years of research into the topic. Professor David Pares, Space Warp Breakthrough

David Pares is an Adjunct Professor at, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Metropolitan Community College, Nebraska Wesleyan, and at Buena Vista College. He teaches Physics, Meteorology, Physical Science, Astronomy, Physical Geography (Weather and Climate) & (Soils and Landforms), Physical Geology and Statistics. In his spare time he runs Space Warp experiments in his garage. He says that Space Warps, like the ones in the sci-fi movies that bend space allowing faster-than-light travel, occur in nature. He has observed the phenomenon and now he believes he has recreated it on a very small scale in his lab. James Gilliland, UFOs over Mt. Adams

The Mt. Adams area, near the town of Trout Lake, Washington, has always been known as a UFO hotspot. This is where James Gilliland built the Enlightened Contact with Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (ECETI) Ranch and Sativa Sanctuary. He has invited many people to his ranch, included television shows and their crews, most of whom have had their own sightings. We talk to Gilliland about the various sightings and strange events that have taken place in the area, and why he thinks they are happening. Martin Willis, Host of Podcast UFO

Martin Willis is the host of Podcast UFO, like the name suggests, it is a weekly podcast about UFOs. Willis works in the antiques business, but was inspired to look into UFOs after an incredible sighting of his own. We will talk to Willis about his sighting, some of his favorite guests, and his coverage of the Center for UFO’s Symposium in North Carolina a couple of weeks ago. Marshall Klarfeld, History of the Anunnaki

Marshal Klarfeld is an author and retired engineer. Since his retirement he has researched the work done by Zecharia Sitchin on the mythology of the Sumerian civilization. Like Sitchin, Klarfeld believes Sumerian records chronicle the visitation of an extraterrestrial civilization called the Anunnaki. Klarfeld believes that there is also archeological evidence of their existence. We talk to Klarfeld about how he first got interested in this topic, and what he believes is the best evidence to indicate that the Sumerian mythologies are real. Nick Pope, The Final UK UFO Files

Nick Pope was in charge of the British Ministry of Defence’s UFO desk from 1991 to 1994. It was his job to officially investigate UFO reports, and although he was skeptical at first, the reports convinced him of the serious nature of the phenomenon. He has been an advocate for the serious investigation of UFO sightings ever since. Due to the large amount of requests, the UK decided to proactively release their official UFO investigation files beginning in 2008. They have been released semi-annually in batches. Then in late 2009, the UK decided to close their UFO desk and no longer take UFO reports. With one final batch of files, that just came last week, the UK government says they have released all their files on UFOs. Leslie Kean, Global Official & Scientific UFO Investigations

Leslie Kean is an independent investigative journalist with a background in freelance writing and radio broadcasting. She is the author of the book UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record. Kean draws on her research to separate fact from fiction and to lift the veil on decades of U.S. government misinformation. Ron Westrum, Emeritus Professor of Sociology on UFOs

Westrum says when an event is widely experienced but seldom reported, we can refer to it as a “hidden event.” Many anomalous events, including UFOs, by appearing to violate common sense or scientific paradigms, fall into this category. We talk to Ron about hidden events and how the public had reacted to them historically and how that relates to UFOs. We also talk to him about his lifelong interest in the UFO phenomena, and his work as a consultant for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Ron Westrum is emeritus professor of Sociology at Eastern Michigan University, holding an honors B.A. from Harvard in Social Relations and a Ph.D from the University of Chicago in Sociology. Dr. Westrum is a specialist on the sociology of science and technology, and has written books such as Technologies and Society: The Shaping of People and Things (1991), as well as Sidewinder: Creative Missile Design at China Lake (1999). He has been a consultant for NASA, for the National Research Council, and also for the Mutual UFO Network. He will be speaking at the MUFON Symposium in July, 2013, and the 2013 Symposium on Official and Scientific Investigations of UFOs in June, 2013.

Ben Hansen, UFOs, Night Vision, and Hoaxers

Ben Hansen is a TV host and lead investigator for the Syfy channel’s Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Ben has a degree in sociology and certification in criminology and corrections. He has worked investigating child sex crimes and severe physical abuse on the Utah County Sex Crimes Task Force, and was a special agent for the FBI. He also does TV producing, firearms training, aerial RC filming, night vision consultation, and lecturing. We talk to Ben about a recent UFO sighting he had of a triangular craft in California.
